Forum Recruitment is proud to partner with a privately owned real estate investment and advisory business with a strong national presence and a growing portfolio of commercial and industrial assets, to appoint a Property/Asset Manager to cover a maternity leave contract for a minimum of 12 months.
About the role
Reporting to an experienced Portfolio Manager, this role is responsible for the end-to-end property management and administration of a commercial and industrial portfolio, with a focus on lease management, tenant relationships, asset presentation and compliance, with exposure to capital works and value-add initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lease management, renewals and coordinating lease documentation
- Acting as the primary contact for tenant enquiries and issue resolution
- Managing property budgets, arrears and invoice approvals
- Coordinating contractors, repairs, maintenance and capital works
- Conducting property inspections and ensuring compliance obligations are met
About you
To be successful in this role it is essential to have:
- A degree in Property, Real Estate, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
- Experience in commercial property management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with sound report writing capability
- Solid Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Must have a driver’s license and car
